Hey guys! My name is Breanna King, and I am a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. I have a passion for business and marketing. Through my time at Pitt, I have learned so much about various topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, starting and maintaining a business as well as content creation, photography, and design.
This blog series is completely new and evolving. I have no idea where this series is going to take us, I am simply excited to get it started. If I've realized one thing, it is that you don't need to know every step along the way, if you have a clear goal and passion to do so, you will get to where you want to be.
My one piece of advice as I start on this "blogging" journey, it is to beware of tunnel vision. Do not anchor yourself into one long term view. Doing so will not allow you to see all the opportunities that arise around you. If you position yourself to believe that you are only destined for one thing only, it will result in a false sense of security. Instead, be comfortable with change. Be comfortable in saying, "I have no idea where this will take me" or "I have an idea of where I want to go, but I am open to change" and just allow yourself to take inventory of the great opportunities that are right in front of you.
